SMC has provided a $48,000,000 ten-year fixed rate mortgage for the acquisition of Westin Tysons Corner, a 407-room full-service hotel located 10-miles west of the Washington, D.C. CBD. The improvements consist of one 11-story building with approximately 12,000 SF of meeting and function space, indoor restaurant, business center, fitness center, bar, and café. Tysons Corner is home to the headquarters of five Fortune 500 companies: Freddie Mac, Capital One, Hilton Worldwide, Gannett, and Booz Allen Hamilton. The area has experienced significant growth over the past five years spurred by the addition of the I-495 Express Lanes in 2012 and the delivery of the Silver Line Metro in 2014.
