SMC’s $7,500,000 first mortgage loan provided acquisition financing for the Depot Marketplace, a 91,461 SF shopping center anchored by Albertsons (not part of the collateral), Walgreens and Staples, located in Prescott, AZ. In addition to the retail component, which was built between 1991 and 1998, the collateral included an 8,030 square foot historic train depot that was constructed in 1907 by the Santa Fe, Prescott, and Phoenix Railway carrier.
